This is not another AI article

At least, or rather, I pretend it's not. Winking at the title the This is America (Parody) video seemed quite fitting for writing this post. Especially because in recent months, the amount of articles and content about it has multiplied, coming from experts, visionaries and "fraudsters" alike.

So, making another list of the attractive benefits of using Artificial Intelligence within an agency, or crafting a didactic entry about whether one tool is better than another, struck me as, to say the least, futile.

Ironically enough, I believe the relevance lies on the human side of the conversation. The use of AI is no longer up for debate. Its presence and democratization are a reality, and what we should be analyzing is how we use it. And I don't just mean the learning and implementation, but the "philosophical" aspect of it.

Is the line between enhancing tool and complete substitution of a job clear?

Is time optimization an excuse to cut costs?

Has the general topic become a sales hook?

Have we analyzed the ethical "gaps" that may exist in the subject?

It's not my intention to take a stance or simulate an answer. My intention is to express that today, as members of this industry, these are the topics we should be discussing. Because it is our responsibility and expertise to do so. Not because it's a trend or because our customers and clients are interested, but because this is already a part of people's reality and everyday environment. We must adapt to this new reality.

Just remember that perhaps everyone who holds a pen can be a writer, but not everyone who uses a pen is a writer.

Of course, I'd love to read your opinion in the comments.

Until next time!
